Surgery
Joshua (my older son) is going to have surgery tomorrow on his Achilles tendons. He has walked on his toes for so long that it has actually effected how his feet are growing, etc. so we will take him tomorrow (Tuesday Sept. 1) to the University hospital in Columbia for the surgery.
After the surgery he will be in a wheelchair for six weeks with both legs casted. His surgery is set to start around 11:30 am and will last for about 1 and 1/2 hours.
Things you can pray for include:
1. Joshua will be calm and have peace before the IV, surgery, etc.
2. His pain will be manageable after the surgery.
3. He (and His parents) will have patience during the six week recovery.
4. This surgery will be successful and will correct the problem.
Thanks for praying!
Jon

We are praying!
We're praying, too--for the surgery and the recovery.
